The Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons are taking a road trip to challenge the Priory Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Crystal Springs Uplands turned things around against Westmoor on Thursday. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Rams.
Tyler Hanebrink spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 12 Ks.

On the hitting side, Charlie Dyner was incredible, going 1-for-4 with five stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Ryan Kim also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Priory). They put the hurt on Mission with a sharp 22-9 win on Saturday. Considering the Panthers have won eight games by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Lincoln Barnard made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
Crystal Springs Uplands' record now sits at 2-9-1. As for Priory, their record is now 11-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Crystal Springs Uplands has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Priory struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Crystal Springs Uplands might still be hurting after the 13-2 loss they got from Priory when the teams last played back in March. Can the Gryphons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
