Brea Olinda's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Liz Han, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Sanborn, who scored 12 points.
Ali DiBenedetto and Keira Colestock certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. DiBenedetto scored 15 points, while Colestock scored 13 points. The contest was Colestock's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Skye Snider was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Brea Olinda's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for La Costa Canyon, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
