Cheshire Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Taft School Big Red 28-0. The Cats haven't had any issues with the Big Red recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Cheshire Academy can attribute much of their success to Keegan Croucher, who threw for 168 yards and three touchdowns. Croucher has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Zach Dresch was in the mix too, providing Cheshire Academy with one score.

Cheshire Academy received some extra help from Dresch, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Cheshire Academy and Taft School will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Cats are set to take on their familiar foe Phillips Exeter Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Taft School will square off against rival Loomis Chaffee School at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
