In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Allie Steffes, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Abbie Borgstadt was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Summit Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .741. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Summit Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Richmond, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
