Yosemite's loss came about despite a quality game from Jadyn Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Johnson is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Izzy Harper was another key contributor, scoring three points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Sierra stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Parlier with a sharp 53-29 win. Given Sierra's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 337th, while Parlier is ranked 717th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Yosemite has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Sierra, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7.
