Discovery entered their tilt with Central Gwinnett on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. Pawlak  scored three  runs while going 1-for-3, while  Yabarra  scored a  run and  stole  Two bases. while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alvaro Romero, who  went 2-for-5 with four  RBI and one  run.
Discovery's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Central Gwinnett, their loss was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 4-7.
 Discovery and Central Gwinnett could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage  in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Discovery will  square off against  Mill Creek  at 5:30  p.m.  on March 17th down  122 places (236 vs. 114). Meanwhile,  Central Gwinnett (ranked 310th) will meet Buford (ranked 18th)  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
