Orleans has not had much luck with Lanesville recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Lanesville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hadley Crosier, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. Crosier hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. Another player making a difference was Shelby Allen, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Orleans' defeat ended a eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 17-2. As for Lanesville, their win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orleans on the road again on Thursday and play against Crawford County at 7:30 p.m. on January 18th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Crawford County is ranked 79th, while Orleans is ranked 54th). As for Lanesville, they will head out on the road to take on Perry Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
