After low-scoring totals in their previous four contest, Marquez brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They put the hurt on the Maywood Academy Eagles with a sharp 19-2 win on Monday. John Olvera made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Olvera was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
