Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Montague). They blew past the Newaygo Lions 71-42 on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their 22-point performance the contest before.

Montague's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7. As for Newaygo, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Montague will venture away from home to square off against Manistee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Newaygo, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Newaygo Lions duke it out with the Big Rapids Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
