Northeast is 0-10 against Dodge County since March of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Raiders will square off against the Indians at 5:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, Northeast put up the most runs they have all season on Wednesday. They blew past Twiggs County 19-5. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Cobras: they've now won eight in a row.

Zekendall Williams was a standout: he scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Zahkie Denson was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing seven bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Northeast always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .622. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Twiggs County only posted an OBP of .481.
Meanwhile, Dodge County entered their tilt with Telfair County on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Trojans. Considering the Indians have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Kain Mincey made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. He has become a key player for Dodge County: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 7-12 otherwise.
In other batting news, Dodge County got a big performance out of Landon Sheffield, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. The Indians are undefeated when Sheffield posts two or more runs, but 7-12 otherwise. Asher Pattillo also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.
Northeast's record is now 7-14. As for Dodge County, their record now sits at 10-12.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Northeast has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 8.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Dodge County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Northeast might still be hurting after the 18-3 loss they got from Dodge County in their previous matchup on Tuesday. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
