They hit Marist with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from  Diego Rios,  Adan Verdin,  and  Nicolas Gallegos.
 Meanwhile, Benet Academy waltzed into their contest  on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Bengals as they made off with  a  5-0 victory. Given Benet Academy's advantage  in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 67th, while Plainfield East are ranked 223rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Benet Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Joliet Catholic, they now  have a winning record of 6-5-2.
