Meanwhile, Blacklick Valley can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They blew past Northern Cambria 65-42. The victory was familiar territory for Blacklick Valley who now have three in a row.
Kristin Szymusiak continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 steals. Szymusiak is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Kaydence Killinger was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with two steals.
Turkeyfoot Valley Area now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Blacklick Valley, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.
Friday's game is shaping up to be a scrappy matchup: Turkeyfoot Valley Area have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 31.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Blacklick Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 29.4 rebounds per game. Given Turkeyfoot Valley Area's sizeable advantage in that area, Blacklick Valley will need to find a way to close that gap.
