McGregor had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 23-56 punch to the gut against Lake of the Woods/Indus/Rainy River on Friday. McGregor was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lake of the Woods/Indus/Rainy River apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
Next week, McGregor take on Onamia at 7:00 PM. Lake of the Woods/Indus/Rainy River will look to defend their home turf next week against South Ridge at 7:00 PM.
