Meanwhile, Penn Cambria's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 60-48 to Central Cambria.
Despite the defeat, Penn Cambria saw an underclassman step up: Reagan Ronan scored six points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Ronan is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Meghan Andersen was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Penn Cambria, they bumped their record down to 3-4 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Central came up short against Penn Cambria in their previous matchup on December 8th, falling 45-34. Can Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
