Halifax's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ava Savage, who scored eight points along with 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Zimmerman, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Halifax's victory ended a 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-13. As for Tri-Valley, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Halifax will take on Newport at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Newport is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Tri-Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Weatherly at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Weatherly is ranked 655th, while Tri-Valley is ranked 650th).
