The Penns Valley Area Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. Their tough 56-35 loss to Bishop Guilfoyle might stick with them for a while. Penns Valley Area has not had much luck with Bishop Guilfoyle recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Penns Valley Area's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ellie Romig, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Smith, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds.
Penns Valley Area's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2.
Penns Valley Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, they will head out on the road to take on Bishop McCort at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Guilfoyle is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
