The Ridgeview Wolf Pack can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They strolled past Independence with points to spare, taking the game 52-38. The victory was just what Ridgeview needed coming off of a 67-31 loss in their prior contest.
It was another big night for Kenadi Walton, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyse Brooks, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
The win got Ridgeview back to even at 9-9. As for Independence, they bumped their record down to 7-10 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
Ridgeview's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bakersfield at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. As for Independence, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stockdale at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Stockdale is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
