A Season-Best Performance from Edward Chumley Leads Anna over Walnut Grove
On Friday, Anna got the W thanks in part to Edward Chumley playing the best football he has all season. Chumley wasn't messing around, rushing for 171 yards and five touchdowns. The contest was his fifth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns.
The win was the third in a row for Anna, bringing their record for this year to 4-3. Chumley and Anna will square off against Denison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Sadly, Cameron Newton posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Walnut Grove over Anna on Friday. Newton rushed for 265 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now punched in two or more in the last seven games he's played.

Lovejoy pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Adams and Lovejoy are taking a road trip to face off against Walnut Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
