The Northridge Academy Pumas have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 25 points or more this season. They blew past Vaughn 62-2 at home. That 62-2 margin sets a new team best for Northridge Academy this season.
Among those leading the charge was Divya Kishore, who scored 17 points along with nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kishore has scored all season. Priscilla Perez was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Vaughn struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Northridge Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Vaughn, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Northridge Academy will be playing at home against Fulton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Vaughn and Santa Paula will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Santa Paula has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
