Softball Recap: Porum Has No Trouble Against Keota

It was a proper cat-fight when Porum took on Keota on Friday. The Panthers blew past the Lions 10-2. Considering the Panthers have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Porum is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Keota, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.

Porum has already played their next game (against Preston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Keota, they will challenge Gans at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Grizzlies have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of.
