Softball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Washington's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Washington barely beat Central Lee the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Demons never let the Hawks get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Saturday. Considering the Demons have won 13 games by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Washington has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Central Lee, their loss dropped their record down to 26-9.

Looking ahead, Washington will take on Assumption on Tuesday. Central Lee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
