The Evergreen Valley Cougars stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past Ann Sobrato 61-41. The win was nothing new for Evergreen Valley as they're now sitting on four straight.
Among those leading the charge was Ryka Aprameyan, who scored 20 points along with eight steals. Aprameyan is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Lealah Rowden was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Evergreen Valley's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Ann Sobrato, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
Evergreen Valley will head out on the road to face off against Monta Vista at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Monta Vista is on a three-game streak of home wins, Evergreen Valley a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Ann Sobrato will take on Branham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Branham is coming into the game hot, having won their last eight games.
