Polytech has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Thursday. They will face off against the Smyrna Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Smyrna took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Polytech, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Polytech didn't have too much trouble with Milford at home as they won 36-17.
Meanwhile, Smyrna's 15-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They fell 47-38 to Cape Henlopen on Tuesday.
The win got Polytech back to even at 1-1. As for Smyrna, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Polytech didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Smyrna in their previous meeting back in February, but they still walked away with a 53-48 win. Will Polytech repeat their success, or does Smyrna have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
