Among those leading the charge was Makenzie Kooy, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. McKylee Hawkins was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 16 rebounds.
Eastlake lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tatum Wood, who scored nine points along with 18 rebounds and three steals. Wood hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Sofia Aluas, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Bothell pushed their record up to 13-2 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27.33 points. As for Eastlake, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.
Bothell will head out on the road to take on Caruthers at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Caruthers has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 216 points over their last three matchups. As for Eastlake, they will be playing at home against Emerald Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Emerald Ridge is ranked 46th, while Eastlake is ranked 37th).
