The Pueblo West Cyclones are taking a road trip to square off against the Legend Titans at 12:15 p.m. on Friday. Pueblo West is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.
Pueblo West was handed a 16-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Cherry Creek 6-5.

Kassidy Donley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Payton Odell was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 12 matchups. Taci Ehrlich was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
Pueblo West was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They are 15-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Legend entered their tilt with Chaparral on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 14-4 win. Considering the Titans have won 13 games by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Caylee Humphrey was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run and six RBI. Vienne Wold also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Pueblo West's record now sits at 19-7. As for Legend, their record is now 20-5.
Legend's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Pueblo West has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.1 strikeouts per game.
