The Los Amigos Lobos scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They breezed by Rancho Alamitos on the road to the tune of 55-28. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Los Amigos considering their 18-point performance the game before.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Los Amigos to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sophia Boyer, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. Boyer hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Mandy Le, who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and four steals.
Los Amigos' victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9. As for Rancho Alamitos, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
Los Amigos will be playing at home against Loara at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Loara is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Rancho Alamitos won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bolsa Grande at 6:00 p.m. on January 11th. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 12 consecutive losses for Bolsa Grande and four for Rancho Alamitos.
