The Pierce Bears won the last time they faced the Paradise Bobcats, and things went their way on Monday too. Pierce came out on top against Paradise by a score of 45-32. The win made it back-to-back wins for Pierce.
Among those leading the charge was Letzy Ambriz, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Magali Jauregui, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Pierce's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-12. As for Paradise, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
Pierce will be playing at home against East Nicolaus at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Nicolaus is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Paradise, they will take on Durham at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
