Kosciusko can attribute much of their success to Tyran Mosley, who scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaybre Pierce, who scored 12 points along with 4 steals.
Leake Central bumped their record down to 4-3 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Kosciusko, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leake Central's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Louisville at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (Louisville is ranked 85th, while Leake Central is ranked 62nd). As for Kosciusko, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Forest at 4:30 p.m.
