Maple Lake are packing up and hiking across state lines for their game on Friday. They will challenge Perry on the road at 7:00 PM. The match looks good for Maple Lake since they are the big favorites in the MaxPreps state rankings.
Maple Lake took care of business in their home opener. They took their match against Minnewaska Area last week by a conclusive 27-0 score. Maple Lake was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Perry might be aching after a bruising 28-49 loss to Manistee.
Maple Lake's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Perry's defeat dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Maple Lake can add another positive mark to their record or if Perry can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Maple Lake's step.
