The Hughesville Spartans entered their tilt with the Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Hughesville really took it to Neumann Regional Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-16 win at home. Hughesville might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three matches by 35 points or more this season.
Hughesville was led to victory by Alli Anstadt and Ava Snyder. Anstadt scored 18 points along with seven steals, while Snyder scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. The match was Anstadt's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Temple, who scored ten points.
Hughesville's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Neumann Regional Academy, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hughesville will challenge Lewisburg at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Neumann Regional Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Montgomery at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
