Baseball Recap: Savanna Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Savanna had lost four games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 15-9 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Anaheim Colonists 11-4. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

As for Anaheim, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

For Anaheim's part, Randy Rojas made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Tabita, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Savanna will square off against Santa Ana at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Anaheim, they will take on Los Amigos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
