Lucia Diaz and Natalia Valerio were among the main playmakers for Willow Glen as the former scored ten points along with five steals and the latter scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Erin Robke was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Oak Grove came up short against Prospect on Thursday and fell 66-53. While losing is never fun, Oak Grove can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 580th, while Prospect is ranked 265th).
The victory got Willow Glen back to even at 5-5. As for Oak Grove, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
