Savannah never got on the board in their matchup last Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Plattsburg on Monday. They blew past the Tigers 17-2. The Savages might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by ten runs or more this season.
Savannah got a great performance from Brailyn Fox as she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Fox has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Lynli Eagleburger and Olivia Schaub did most of the damage at the plate: Eagleburger went 3-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles, while Schaub went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those five RBI gave Eagleburger a new career-high. Addisen Koehler was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
