The Fallbrook Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Westview Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Fallbrook took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over Vista. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Eric Calderon made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Fallbrook got a big performance out of Camden Hoff, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Hoff has become a key player for the Warriors: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 11-12 otherwise. Teague Lucy was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, while Westview put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Oceanside. The Wolverines came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 5-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.
Tyler Bissessar tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched.
At the plate, Charles Jaskowiak and Ethan Holeman did most of the damage at the plate: Jaskowiak got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs, while Holeman went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Mahir Desai, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Fallbrook is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Westview, their record is now 20-7.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Fallbrook hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .317. However, it's not like Westview struggles in that department as they've averaged .314. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
