Ava Shearer continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Regan Lowrey, who scored nine points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, everything went Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy's way against Greenwood on Monday as Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy made off with a 65-39 win. Given Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while Greenwood is ranked 242nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Juniata's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-0.
