Hayward won the last time they faced Tennyson and things went their way on Friday too. The Farmers blew past the Lancers 21-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Farmers, who have now won five contests in a row.

Hayward got a massive performance out of Niles Braggs, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs and two RBI. Those four hits gave Braggs a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ryland Bueno, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI and two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hayward kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 11.4.

Hayward's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Tennyson, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-14.

Hayward didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-1 defeat against Arroyo on the 12th. Tennyson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
