Columbia is a perfect 3-0 against Mohonasen since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Blue Devils will welcome the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Columbia 4, Mohonasen 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Columbia is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 2-1.

Matthew Burek looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Columbia is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-9 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Ascher Melino was excellent, going 2-for-5 with one home run and two RBI.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mohonasen). They never let Schenectady get on the board and left with a 22-0 victory on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.
The team relied heavily on Will Quinn, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025. Hunter Stevens was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Mohonasen always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Mohonasen pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Columbia, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
Columbia got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2023 against Mohonasen by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
