The Cheverus Stags will face off against the Falmouth Navigators at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cheverus is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
Cheverus took an eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Marshwood, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Stags' pitchers stepped up to hand the Hawks a 1-0 shutout on Saturday.

Ben Dumais
| 05/23/26 @ Marshwood | 5 |
| 05/09/26 vs Scarborough | 4 |
| 05/05/26 @ Gorham | 0 |
| 04/30/26 @ Westbrook | 5 |
Ben Dumais tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.
On the hitting side, Cheverus saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Holmes, who went 1-for-5 with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Falmouth sidestepped Bonny Eagle for a 3-1 victory. The Navigators haven't had any issues with the Scots recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Charlie Engle spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up seven Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Falmouth is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ben Robbins, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. That stolen base was his first of the season. Mason Pechinski was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Cheverus' victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Falmouth, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
Cheverus couldn't quite finish off Falmouth when the teams last played back in May of 2025 and fell 5-3. Will the Stags have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
