After flying high against the Silver Stage Nighthawks last Tuesday, the Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons came back down to earth. Coral Academy of Science - Reno took a serious blow against North Tahoe on Saturday, falling 45-18. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Coral Academy of Science - Reno has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Coral Academy of Science - Reno lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ashleen Kaur. Despite the final result, she scored four points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Coral Academy of Science - Reno struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Tahoe to victory, but perhaps none more so than Makenna Alter, who scored nine points along with three steals. Alter hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Alana Hendricks was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Coral Academy of Science - Reno on the road again on Monday and play against Oasis Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 22nd.
