Harnett Central got themselves on the board against Western Harnett on Friday, but Western Harnett never followed suit. They took their game with ease, bagging a 47-0 win over the Eagles. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Ro'Shawn Towson produced another solid performance rushing for 98 yards and two scores on only seven carries. Dj Brown was in the mix as well, providing Harnett Central with one touchdown.

Harnett Central's run defense was locked in: Western Harnett could only muster 0.8 yards per carry. While two picked up at least eight total tackles, William Jones stood above the rest. He made eight total tackles (5.0 for loss). Harnett Central didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 14.5.

Harnett Central's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for five sacks. Ashem Afubu refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Harnett Central received some extra help from Brown, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Harnett Central's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Western Harnett, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
