Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Bethel Christian Kings, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were dealt a 64-6 defeat at the hands of the Titans on Thursday. Bethel Christian's defeat continues an unfortunate trend for the team, making it four in a row.
Jaylenne Jauregui was Bethel Christian's leading scorer, having posted three points.
Hailey Havlicheck held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.
Bethel Christian dropped their record down to 7-13 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.0 points per game. As for Grand Terrace, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.
Bethel Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Grand Terrace's road trip will continue as they head out to face Carpinteria at 7:00 p.m. on February 10th.
