 Meanwhile, Hempfield Area had to endure  a  four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with  a   58-47  win over Butler  on Monday.
 Hempfield Area now  has a winning record of 8-7. As for Mt. Lebanon, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
 Mt. Lebanon skirted past Hempfield Area  42-40 in their previous meeting  back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mt. Lebanon since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
