Westminster is 8-2 against Ocean View since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Westminster Lions will look to defend their home court against the Ocean View Seahawks at 6:30 p.m. Westminster is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Westminster, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 49-30 loss to Segerstrom. Westminster has not had much luck with Segerstrom recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Meanwhile, Ocean View's eight-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They came out on top against Garden Grove by a score of 40-31. The victory was just what Ocean View needed coming off of a 57-24 loss in their prior match.
Westminster's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Ocean View, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-15.
Westminster won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, slipping by Ocean View 64-63. Will Westminster repeat their success, or does Ocean View have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
