The Hercules Titans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Vallejo, falling 71-15. Hercules has not had much luck with Vallejo recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
It was another big night for Jazmine Cardwell, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 15 rebounds for Vallejo. That makes it six consecutive games in which Cardwell has scored at least 25% of Vallejo's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Veekie Head, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 17 rebounds.
Hercules' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Vallejo, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hercules will take on Deer Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Vallejo won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Alhambra at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. Alhambra presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Vallejo in California (Alhambra is ranked 318th, while Vallejo is ranked 901st).
