Bertha-Hewitt had a rough outing against Wheaton/Herman-Norcross five weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Bertha-Hewitt were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Hillcrest Lutheran Academy 42-6. That result was just more of the same for Bertha-Hewitt, who also won the last time these teams played.
The win got Bertha-Hewitt back to even at 3-3. Hillcrest Lutheran Academy are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Next week Bertha-Hewitt take on Verndale at 7:00 PM. Verndale are cruising in on a six-game winning streak. Hillcrest Lutheran Academy will be playing at home against Wheaton/Herman-Norcross at at 7:00 PM.
