St. Mary's extended the longest winning streak in Southern Minnesota this week by beating Murray County Central, 62-18. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Knights.
St. Mary's took down the Rebels 62-18 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Springfield's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jacob Menage threw for 37 yards and Christopher Kretsch had 22 yards receiving. On the ground Zach Wells chipped in 103 yards. Cole Milbrath helped Springfield's passing attack out by catching one ball for eight yards.
Rod Berdan's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 62 points on Murray County Central.
