This season hasn't been kind to the Tri-Valley Bulldogs, who are still winless after their 14th match. They were beaten by Marian Catholic 70-41 on Thursday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tri-Valley in their matchups with Marian Catholic: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Tri-Valley still got an impressive performance from Grace Header, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Alex Snyder, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Marian Catholic's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will face off against Tamaqua at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Tamaqua focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Thursday. As for Marian Catholic, they will head out on the road to take on East Stroudsburg North at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. East Stroudsburg North comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
