Ola lost to McIntosh back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Mustangs were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Chiefs. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Ola and bumps their season record up to 8-2. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 6.5 runs. As for McIntosh, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ola will face off against Hampton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.86 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for McIntosh, they are taking a road trip to take on Lovejoy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.4 runs per game on average), something the Chiefs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
