In other batting news, Kassidy Anderson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in September. Northside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .680. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Peach County only posted an OBP of .200.
Northside has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 23-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Peach County, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-13.
Looking ahead, Northside will take on St. Pius X Catholic at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Patriots 3.4, the Golden Lions 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Peach County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
