Leake Central came out on top against Scott Central on Friday thanks in part to Zyaier Gilbert's efforts. Gilbert was unstoppable, making 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss). Gilbert is crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least seven every time he's taken the field this season.

Coming up, Leake Central's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on West Lauderdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gators have some work to do to even out the 1-8 series between these two since September of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
